It's kind of silly to keep a 10+ year old bug open when all it's doing is
tracking fixes to the testsuite for 16 bit int problems.
We can open a new bug for new issues and we can obviously fix issues, but
tracking them forever in this old bug just doesn't provide any value IMHO.
