--- Comment #2 from sandra at gcc dot gnu.org --- C23 is now the default C version, so this issue is unblocked. I'm anticipating some substantial rewrites/reorganization of all the attribute documentation to address this and other issues.... at the moment I'm still trying to collect them all.
