Fix for this PR
Copying the chunk that handles class function selectors from 14- and
15-branches fixes this problem.
I will commit just as soon as regtesting is complete.
Sorry about the long gap since the report. This one sailed out of my mind and,
as I said, daytime work distracted me for gfortran until about a week ago.
