This ridiculous number seems to be to accommodate AI generated code. Tells me
AI generated code is not so good, but may be useful. Do we want to continue to
fix problems in others code by accommodating it in gfortran. That's a serious
question. My personal opinion is that if automatic code generators are using
more than 63 characters they ought to be fixed. It really is sorta of a sad
situation if one thinks about it.
