I am neither an expert on Coarrays (unfortunately) nor on the gimple structure of gcc, so I cannot judge whether this patch solves the ICE issue or simply shadows it. I had just reported this from a comp.lang.fortran discussion end of 2016. From my side, if the ICE is gone with the patch and no other test breaks, it seems good to me.
