--- Comment #3 from Jeffrey A. Law <law at gcc dot gnu.org> --- Adjusting subreg_regno isn't going to work. reload depends on it producing "bogus" results to then trigger reloading inner parts of the subreg expressions. Adjusting alter_reg might be an option.
