I now tried an extended version of comment 0, see below and see https://godbolt.org/z/GKzc4sveK for the result with gfortran, ifort, ifx and flag. I have to admit that I do not really see a real pattern here, comparing the compilers. One quote from F2023 can be found at bug 114304 comment 14.
