The preferred location is
/Volumes/Toolchain/openwrt/lib/gcc/aarch64-linux-gnu/13.2.0/../../../../aarch64-linux-gnu/bin/aarch64-linux-gnu/13.2.0/ld
(known as gcc_tooldir in the makefile)
