Confirm as this has been asked via gcc-help multiple times.
A possible work around is to install the static libstdc++ (libstdc++.a)
provided by the distro. But this is not documented anywhere and it's still
just a work around, not a fix.
Note that patches should be sent to gcc-patc...@gcc.gnu.org instead of (or in
addition to) posting here. The patches in bugzilla generally do not get any
review seriously.
