Yes, we have several issues like this. The code in niter analysis is quite
convoluted and I've recently had a detailed look after which I found it
does the correct thing (so I couldn't figure who's to blame). But it took me
half a day to understand ...
I think there's an Wuninitialized bug where I put in some comments where the
code is likely confused / the imprecision is from.
