--- Comment #4 from Tamar Christina <tnfchris at gcc dot gnu.org> --- Looks like that commit moved the short named to ctype_.h instead of ctype.h. I'm however unsure if this is something GCC needs to adapt to or if newlib needs to fix this. They claim it now matches glibc.
