The bug actually occurs with "--disable-bootstrap" which is how Matthias Klose configures gcc when building the gcc-snapshot package. Removing the configure flag makes the bootstrap succeed. So my guess is that the system compiler is miscompiling stage1 which then fails to build libstdc++ and only the stage2(3?) compiler works properly. Guess we can mark this PR as invalid then?
