get_available_features in libgcc/config/i386/cpuinfo.c has

     if (avx512_usable)
        {
...
          if (ecx & bit_GFNI)
            set_feature (FEATURE_GFNI);

But GFNI is independent of A X512.  There are processors with SSE, AVX and
AVX512 versions of GFNI:
