"C1007 (R1007) For the G edit descriptor, d shall be specified if w is not zero" (There is no "and only if") The compiler does the right thing now (good). gfortran.dg/fmt_go_4.f08 should be fixed to check for standard-conforming run-time output, which is currently broken by an incomplete fix for bug 90374.
