And I don't think they're gonna update gcc in buster while it's stable. Which means we're going to have to live with that bug anyway until we can kill support for buster. I'm going to check back with my co-developers whether one of them needs this fixed particularly in gcc 8 (or 7). Though as long as none of them speaks up, lets assume we don't actually need it.
