Yes, I'll notify Arm that a fix is available, I already registered a bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+bug/1814397. In the mean time I already created a patch for the GNU MCU Eclipse ARM Embedded GCC distribution that I maintain (based on the Arm distribution), and plan to make a new release which will include this fix.
