Have you ever build gcc on HP-UX 11.31/PA? Definitely a target issue. With some patches I can build gcc 4.x on 11.31/PA. I am building 8.1.0 now with a fixinc patch to address the issue I am raising in this PR. I don't know how to quickly test a fixinc patch without doing a full rebuild so it's taking awhile. Should know by the end of the day.
