E.g. when you've taken away all the -mcpu= options but 2, why not take away all the powerpcspe-cpus.def entries but the two, masks for other CPUs, etc. Do those CPUs support Altivec or VSX? If not, then perhaps all of altivec.md and vsx.md can go too, the intrinsic headers, etc. etc.
