I tested it with SPEC20[06|17] and see no performance/stability degradation. Could you please merge your latest patch into main trunk? I will provide Intel specific changes (in gcc/config/i386) that will leverage your patch to get the performance better for the provided testcase (step N2) Thank you Sergey
