So, in summary: no problems found in libgomp testing of patch at r256524 for x86_64 with nvptx accelerator and GOMP_NVPTX_JIT=-O0 (to filter out nvidia driver problems), cuda 7.5 and driver version 384.111 on ubuntu 16.04.3.
