--- Comment #2 from joseph at codesourcery dot com <joseph at codesourcery dot com> --- In my view, a separate option for this warning rather than -Wincompatible-pointer-types would be best (as it's much more likely people will want to disable this warning than that they will want to disable other cases of -Wincompatible-pointer-types or -Wattributes).
