With the patch in comment 7 applied on top of r252799, I have bootstrapped
x86_64-apple-darwin16.7.0, configured with:
../work/configure --prefix=/opt/gcc/gcc8w
--enable-languages=c,c++,fortran,objc,obj-c++,ada,lto --with-gmp=/opt/mp-new
--with-system-zlib --with-isl=/opt/mp-new --enable-lto --enable-plugin
--with-arch=corei7 --with-cpu=corei7
and check-ada gives

# of expected passes 2320
# of unexpected failures 0
=== gnat Summary ===
# of expected passes 2600
# of expected failures 24
# of unsupported tests 7
