If you're positive the bug doesn't reproduce on your end (targeting generic or A5 codegen), then maybe it's about some interaction between gcc instrumentation and the slightly dated system libraries. I think my little A5->A53 experiment shows once the instrumented binary is built, it doesn't matter how the profile data is gathered.
