Yikes, I need an assignement operator:

  B(const B &o)
  {
    __builtin_memcpy(this, &o, sizeof(B));
  }
  B& operator = (const B &o)
  {
     __builtin_memcpy(this, &o, sizeof(B));
     return *this;
  }

now it seems to work...
