As Jakub says this is something you need to raise with Ubuntu / Linaro. CC'ing
a Linaro person who maybe able to help.
Tested with a default thumb cross compiler and a default arm state cross
compiler with the testcase changed to __attribute__(("arm"")) . In both cases
GCC 6 and GCC 7 work just fine.
