I asked at linux questions about if my mobile processor really was an ivybridge and if -march ivybridge was really what it could use. https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?s=b99823329486c2467986c8809a00263c&p=5425639#post5425639 My processor is described here: http://ark.intel.com/products/71469/Intel-Pentium-Processor-2117U-2M-Cache-1_80-GHz The ivy bridge arch is described here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivy_Bridge_28microarchitecture%29 My problem is that my cpu does not support all the standard ivybridge instructions. I want to know if this is a bug in gcc or my processor or what.
