--- Comment #4 from Michael Darling <darlingm at gmail dot com> --- symlinking binutils source first, and overwriting symlinks with gcc source did not help - same error. Have to run out for a bit, but I almost have this narrowed down to the exact commit that caused this. I'll report back.
