--- Comment #1 from Richard Biener <rguenth at gcc dot gnu.org> --- I think I've seen a dup. The issue is we fail to set DECL_HARD_REGISTER on this bogus decl and/or fail to set it up as proper variable. That leaves the symtab in inconsistent shape.
