I am in the process of trying to update to latest Altera compiler and I getting
a segment fault in the compiler: 
../../gcc-4.1/gcc/crtstuff.c:323: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

The version of the Altera version of the gcc is nios2_gnu_gcc4_12.0.tgz*
