We are trying to understand your rather terse comments. Perhaps this isn't the official documentation (if there is such a thing), but even in the example opeartor[] is used to store values: http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/vector/vector/operator[] I am certainly willing to learn (we all are) if you could be a bit more descriptive.
