the location_block patch indeed triggered some lto bugs. I tried to port some
fixes from upstream to google branch, but found that the related code is very
different between two versions. We can go ahead to fix these lto bugs in
google-4_7 branch, but it would take much time and will be pain. As LTO is not
heavily used, shall we just wait until we upgrade to 4.8?
