I got the same error on arm-linux-gnueabi; the system compiler had installed the shared but not the static libstdc++ libraries. On that machine, the entire user-space is built without any static libstdc++ libraries, so it's quite annoying (and unexpected) to have to install them for Ada bootstrap. Couldn't Ada use the g++/libstdc++ bits from the compiler being built?
