Please > upgrade to a more recent set of sources Hello, Thanks for the feedback; since 4.4.7 was released less than a month ago I was not aware of this. The reason of choosing 4.4 was that I didn't dare to go upper in versions. The good news is that, after another "make distclean" compiler got beyond c-common.c and eventually going forward... Accepting your statement, please advise what is the best bet for a compiler for such an archaic architecture (considering that Lenny is last of Debian that supports arm; Squeeze supports only armel). Does it make sense to even try compiling e.g. 4.7, or I should stay as low as possible, with 4.5 being the oldest one maintained? (none beyond 4.4 list armv5 in "successful builds") Generally speaking; is there a list on supported architectures / cpus at least? Thanks in advance, G.
