As Mikael points out, the same or very similar problem has already been reported multiple times, and it appears that other PRs have the offending commits identified. This does cause problems for Debian, as we are adopting gcc-4.6 for the next release, and if this bug remains unfixed, we will have to do something ugly, like use -fno-tree-sra by default at least on sparc.
