Jakub, wrt my Comment #4, would it make sense in your opinion to implement a
mechanism requiring cooperation between glibc & libstdc++ similar to the
__CORRECT_ISO_CPP_STRING_H_PROTO mechanism you implemented for memchr & co back
in 2009-01-30?
