So the problem is that when building from an untarred snapshot / release,
CRLF translation might have been applied - unlike with svn, where you see
wxactly what is in the repository.
I suppose we should make a copy of $(srcdir)/doc/tm.texi with \r removed as
well, so that the comparison can succeed no matter if \r has been inserted or
not.
