Actually I have the gcc-4.0.0 running on the PowerPC with AIX 5.3.
But without the g++ compiler, because it does not work.
For that reason I try to install the newer gcc-4.4.4, but without success.
The "configure" is ok, but the "make" fails, because the gcc build-directory is
always empty when the makefile wants to compile something there.
I send you the "config.log" and the generated "makefile" as attachment.
