I will try reverting both libgcc/configure.ac and libdecnumber/configure.ac next. I suspect the changes in r163815/r163816 are misguided in that it wasn't appreciated how the behavior of dfp.m4 had to be modulated for each location. This being the case, the advantage of merging these configure.ac code into a single m4 file seems nullified.
