Hopefully the remaining correctness issues can be fixed quickly in the C++ front-end, honestly before this PR I wasn't aware of any correctness regression in this area, that is treatment of signed zeros. Performance, that could be also a problem for some users, I think we should anyway add a note to the 4.5 changes explaining the use of -fno-signed-zeros, both for C and C++, in that case. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43108
