Please update your compiler to at least the latest
4.2.x release. A better choice would be a vesion
from the 4.4 releases. In fact, you can get pre-compiled
version of gfortran from the gfortran wiki.
The 4.0.1 version of the compiler has not been
supported for years. Yes, I wrote years.
