It is a special case of linking, not to be compared with that of libmudflap. We want libmudflap built without '-nostdlib', I understand.
So, I vote somehow to get the target libraries libtool scripts to pass -Bxxx compile/link flags. That may be related to a bug in libtool, but I did some simple tests with a self-built libtool script (out of the gcc tree), and there -Bxxx were passed.
