I've been building a cross-gcj with Gentoo's crossdev tool, and it collided with the system copy of GCC as it tried to install libjvm.so in /usr/lib/gcc-4.3.4-9/.
I've solved this by simplifying a bit the configure script to remove the dbexec recalculation and using the already-verified prefix for cross-compilers, see attached patch.
