It would be useful if we had an exact statement of the problem, in terms of "memset fails for ..." or whatever. I'd ask a few Sun people to have a look here, and comment, but it's unclear precisely what is believed to be the issue. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40757
