It does not reproduce with Ubuntu gcc-4.3. I didn't try 4.4. If anyone cares, I
submitted a workaround at
http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project/llvm/trunk/include/llvm/Support/IRBuilder.h?r1=75084&r2=75083&pathrev=75084
which may point to the underlying problem.
