While the principle sort-of seems sound that you shouldn't push the accuracy of the C run-time too much, I guess with no obvious exceptions to exclude, or to guide as to what _is_ acceptable accuracy, it's not worth pursuing this. I'm not sure what has actually happened to improve the accuracy that much, so I do slightly wonder where the fix was. Thanks for looking into it anyway, time to close it in that case!
