This should probably be closed as WONTFIX. The report is against FreeBSD 5.3, which is ancient. The FreeBSD Ports Collection currently has port/lang/gcc34, which uses 3.4.6. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18360
