g++-4.3 (Ubuntu 4.3-20080126-1ubuntu1) 4.3.0 20080126 (experimental) [trunk revision 131874] and my benchmark ran in 25s compared to 20s with g++-4.2.3. So there is certainly a lot of improvement though it's still 20% slower than 4.2.3.
