Second, all the machinery for adding $LDBL128 is provided by math.h (or in fixincludes/tests/base/architecture/ppc/math.h). So the problem for languages accepting to include math.h can be solved by adding the include in the code. Indeed for these languages it would be nice to do the include silently, but it's not vital to use long double. Where the problem becomes serious is for languages such as fortran which has no direct way to access math.h. So far all the attempts I have seen have failed to yield a satisfactory solution.
