Except there is two parts to this bug, first it is a bug in the linux kernel for not including this function. Second the GCC bug is that it produces less than optimal code but that should not be a blocker for GCC 4.3.0. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32044
