A colleague just told me, that aix only gives an application 256 MB memory
except
if you set a certain environment variable (don't know yet) or
specify something like -Wl,-bmaxdata:0x80000000 to the linker.
Where could I set this for configure so that it propagates down. Then I can
test if it works.
